Appearance
The Xiphos looks like a classic yet modern sword with a curvy blade and golden handle.
Role in the Series
While in 'Safe Mode'
The sword is given to Jay not long after he arrives at New Olympia. In a short amount of time, he was able to master use of the sword and is rarely without it. Occasionally, Jay has used the sword like a spear to hit far off targets.
When not using the sword, it can be put in a Safe Mode where the blade can retract into the handle and not be of any danger to anyone.
