The first main weapon of Atlanta. She would later replace it with the Wrist Laser Crossbow.
Appearance
The bolas resembled classic bolas in that they looked like steel balls at the end of a small length of rope. When tossed, the balls will open into a three-point claw.
Role in the Series
Atlanta chose the bolas shortly after arriving at New Olympia. During the time she had them, they proved to be both reliable but easily destroyed or being taken away by an enemy. She eventually grew tired of these factors and made the switch to the Wrist Laser Crossbow.
Because it was a fairly compact and easy to transport item, Atlanta was able to carry more than one at a time to use during a fight. Unfortunately, the rope used on the bolas was fairly easy to break which she would have to replace after the fight.
