Jason was an ancient Greek mythological hero who was famous for his role as the leader of the Argonauts and their quest for the Golden Fleece.
Physical Appearance
Jason looks like an older version of Jay. His facial structure and features are completely identical to him, except for the beard. Jason even has the same hairstyle as Jay. He is tall with a muscular build and is seen wearing traditional Greek clothing.

While Jason is rarely seen in the show, he is depicted as kind and supportive to others.

- Chaos 101: Hermes informs Jay's parents that Jay will be working with NASA, training to become an astronaut, a possible reference to the myth Jason and the Argonauts
- Field of Nightmares: Although not shown, Jason was a key point of the plot as he is revealed to have once been married to the sorceress Medea. It is stated that he ended their marriage when Medea was becoming mad with power and her spirit would possess Medelia in an attempt to eliminate Jay.

Mythology
Aphrodite
Aphrodite generously rewarded those who honored her, but also punished those who disrespected her, often quite brutally. When the women of the island of Lemnos refused to sacrifice to Aphrodite, the goddess cursed them to stink horribly so their husbands would never have sex with them. Instead, they started having sex with their Thracian slave-girls. In anger, the women murdered the entire male population of the island, and all the Thracian slaves. When Jason and the Argonauts arrived on Lemnos, they mated with the women under Aphrodite's approval and repopulated the island.

- He was the son of Aeson, the rightful king of Iolcos.
- He was married to the sorceress Medea until she was removed by Theseus.
- Some myth's claim that Jason instead abandoned Medea after a decade of marriage to marry King Creon's daughter Creusa. As one form of revenge she attempted, she tried to prevent Jason from having any heirs.
